Basic Meditation

1. Sit comfortably on the floor, on a chair, or lie down.

2. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Try and allow your inhalations and exhalations to be the same length.

3. With eyes closed, allow your gaze to settle on the bridge of your nose.

4. When thoughts arise imagine they are clouds passing by inside your mind. Focus on the space between the clouds, try to stay there.

5. Continue with this practice for 5 minutes or more.
